We are constantly in process of building instruments. If we are not building a custom guitar, then we’re making what we call “Themed” Guitars.
We design and craft guitars as the spirit moves. We choose a central theme and then design elements that accentuate that theme. These “themed” guitars are aesthetically fashioned around this central idea, but acoustically fashioned to sound great! These instruments, if they are still available, sell at a price below what a custom model might cost. We show a few here to show you what we can do and to give you ideas for your own custom guitar.

♥ “A Bear Wanders Through”. This guitar is the sister of our first custom guitar but with a cedar top, gold mother of pearl inlay, white binding, nut and tuners and a varnish finish. This nylon-stringed beauty includes a case and a humidifier.
♥ “The Wave”. These are two sister steel-string guitars. These are our basic model OM size, sporting a wave shape on the head stock, the end of the fret board and in the fret board markers. Both have an accent wood in 4 places – the head stock, rosette, heel cap and tail piece – one in lace wood and the other in purple heart. The Sitka Spruce top is French Polished while there is gel varnish elsewhere.
The Lace Wood Wave has undergone changes since the above photos. We’ve added a K&K passive pickup (which sounds really sweet when electrified) along with strap buttons. We have also added bridge and head stock inlays and added a pick guard. This guitar has an amazing sound, surpassing any recent Martins or Taylors we’ve played. Chris of Alien Guitars said, “This is the best sounding guitar from a Colorado Luthier I have played in a long time!”
